Phone estimates are free, so call 908-331-0796 and talk it through. An in-person estimate costs $50, and that $50 comes off your contract when you sign.

We want to make sure we're the right fit for your project before either of us spends time on a site visit. A few questions up front mean the visit is useful and the estimate is accurate.

We'll sit down with you and go through the project, then price it from our own costs so you get an apples-to-apples comparison with any other bid, line by line.

Construction contracts start with a deposit of 25% to 50%. Another 25% is due when an agreed milestone is complete, and the remaining 25% at completion. Change orders, if there are any, are due at completion. On large projects we may take a smaller deposit with more frequent payments based on completed work, with a retainer.

A retainer is required when a project doesn't yet have plans approved by your local building department, or is still in the design phase. All commercial accounts start with a retainer.

Proposals and unsigned contracts are valid for 30 days from the day we send them. After that they're void, and pricing may change with market conditions.

Yes. Our New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor registration number is 13VH11431800. New Jersey requires home improvement contractors to register, to use written contracts for jobs over $500, and to show their registration number on ads, vehicles and business documents.

We're based in Belleville and work in every town in Essex County (22), Union County (21) and Passaic County (16), from Clifton and Wayne to West Milford. Our service area page lists every town and how far it is from our office. If your town isn't on it, call anyway; we travel on occasion.
