What $12,000 and up covers
Our published starting point for a bathroom remodel is $12,000 including material. That is a real remodel, not a cosmetic refresh: the old finishes come out, and new tile, fixtures and paint go in.
The price climbs with the size of the room and with three decisions in particular: whether any plumbing moves, how much of the wall is tiled (a full-height shower surround or a tiled wainscot around the room), and the tub or shower you pick. A glass enclosure, a large-format or patterned tile and a tiled niche all add labor.
You pick, we build
Choose your fixtures and tile, or pick from our suppliers, and we take care of the rest. Plumbing is handled by a master-licensed plumber and electrical by master-licensed electricians, so the rough-in is done right before any tile goes up.
Tile is priced by the square foot ($10 to $20 and up, labor), which makes it easy to see what a larger-format or more detailed layout will cost before you commit.
Permits and inspections
Whether you need a permit depends on the scope. Replacing finishes usually doesn't require one, but moving or adding plumbing, or adding circuits, generally does. We check with your town's construction office before work starts and pull the permits the job needs.
Commercial restrooms too
We also rebuild restrooms for businesses: subway tile wainscot, wall-hung sinks, urinals, resilient flooring and accessories, laid out for daily commercial use.
